The museum was established in 2023 by The Womens Cultural Society of Korestia.
The villages of Korestia have been continuously inhabited from the prehistoric times until today.It is mentioned by ancient Greek scholars that the Dorian and Pelasgian Greek tribes had occupied the area during the 11 th century BC.
The museum boasts excibits from the 19 th century and on, evoking the uninterrupted lifestyle throughout the centuries and at the same time it reveals a very organized and advanced society
Open. Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. From October to March and 10 am to2 pm and 6 to 8 pm from April to September
